I must say I not usually minded to make the effort in writing reviews, I consider myself a cynic with high expectations – rarely a winning combo!

That said I was delighted and impressed by the personal service I received from both David and Ian.  David appears to be a natural at listening and understanding what I was looking for.  He drew exactly what my minds-eye saw.  The piece of jewellery that followed was attentively crafted and willingly indulged with great skill, experience and passion.

There is a great warmth, honesty and charm with all they do coupled with the simplicity of saying what they will do and refreshingly doing what they say!  Best of all, they love what they do.

I would highly recommend Lester and Brown’s to anyone looking for a fantastic piece of jewellery made especially for you. Having decided to have an engagement ring made for a surprise proposal on an upcoming holiday, I was a little daunted at first having something so important made ‘unsupervised’. Ian looked after me all the way with sound advice and I found myself enjoying the process. A week after the final decisions were made I went to pick up the ring and couldn’t believe how perfect it was. My now fiancé is in love with it too and has been proudly showing it off. A huge thank you to Ian for all his help with this special moment in our lives.

“What can I say, there isn’t a superlative that does you credit and your work justice. But to say that I am over-the-moon would be a good place to start… Having spent the best part of ten years hidden away at the back of a drawer, I decided that the time had come to “recycle” some old rings that I had.  Not quite sure where to start I googled “jewellery remodeling”…… Lester and Brown featured within the results, but despite having clicked through onto a number of sites, you were then the only one that I was inclined to approach.
We hadn’t a clue what we wanted when we called to see you other than a new ring; you opened our eyes to the options available, but never tried to “sell” to or steer us in any way.  And the rest, as they say, is history. Your subsequent design was spot on, the CAD drawing itself taking my breath away and giving an unbelievable photo-like impression of what the finished article could look like.  We collected my new ring today and oh my word… Thrilled, delighted, chuffed-to-bits and grinning like the Cheshire Cat. And that’s just my husband! We can’t speak highly enough of you and your genuine talent and craftsmanship.
You’re our “go to” jeweller now, honestly wouldn’t bother looking anywhere else.

Just collected my bespoke ring. I had several rings that lay unworn in my jewellery box so decided they needed a new look. Dave has made a couple of things for me over the years so was the obvious choice. His advice, designs and customer service are first class. Fabulous place have made my bespoke engagement & wedding ring almost 17 years ago and people still comment on the design. Designed and created an anniversary ring for me as well. I would always go here for amazing jewellery.

I collected the ring made for me today and it couldn’t be more beautiful. My grandma, to whom I was incredibly close, passed away in May. She left me some money in her will and I knew I wanted to have a ring made.
I had an idea what I wanted, knowing it would involve pearl as that was both hers and mine birthstone. Other than that I was clueless!! David and Ian helped me every step of the way, originally producing sketches followed by a CGI of the ring.
This ring is just beautiful, the service I received was second to none and the end result is something amazing that will always remind me of my Grandma. Thank you. X
