Jewellery Cleaning and Care

Jewellery worn regularly, like engagement, wedding and eternity rings, should be routinely checked every 6 months. The claws and settings holding your diamonds and gemstones in place can wear over time. Similarly, the clasps securing your chains, bracelets and necklaces should be checked to make sure they are functioning properly.

In store, we offer a free jewellery inspection and cleaning service, where we will check for loose gemstones and durability of your piece, we will also clean your jewellery while you wait and add some sparkle back to your jewellery.
At home, you can clean your jewellery using a solution of mild, non-abrasive dishwashing liquid diluted in water. Clean the area behind diamonds and gemstones with a soft bristle toothbrush before and after soaking for ten minutes.

Rhodium plating.

The only thing we charge for when cleaning and refurbishing your jewellery is re-rhodium plating of white gold (normally a charge of £15 is applied depending on the item). This is usually done in a few minutes while you wait.
