While an engagement ring signifies a promise, the wedding band symbolizes the actual fulfilment of that promise, the marriage itself. (Sounds a bit corny but true!)

At Lester and Brown, we believe that your wedding rings should last a lifetime, so our wedding bands, which are designed and created in our workshop are made to ensure they last as long as the marriage they symbolise. Your wedding rings are so much more than precious metal bands.

Don’t worry if you can’t call in to see us or you don’t live locally, most of the design process can be done via phone conversation, email or Skype. We have customers from all over the UK and even have regular clients from as far away as Spain, Australia, America, Thailand and France.

We often create bespoke wedding rings to match a brides own engagement ring. This is can be something as simple as matching the profile (shape) of the band or it may involve creating a shaped wedding band which sits around the engagement ring. Whatever your choice, we will make sure your rings all match and sit perfectly together.

Whether you have an idea for your wedding rings or prefer to start with a blank canvas, we will explore different concepts for your bespoke wedding bands. We encourage you to have as much creative input as you can in the design process. Don’t worry, you needn’t be able to draw, if you can describe it, we can create it, simply share your ideas with us and we can sketch them out or create a computer generated image for you to view.

Once you’re happy with your wedding ring designs, we’ll start to create you’re your rings to your specifications and in the precious metal that you have selected, it won’t be long before your initial ring idea becomes a reality.

As our in-house jewellers will start to work on your wedding rings, if we’re creating a shaped wedding band, we may need to borrow the bride’s engagement ring for a short time but promise to have it back on her finger as quick as possible.

We can engrave your wedding rings with initials, wedding date or even a special message. This engraving can be on the inside or the outside or even both. You may simply want a plain wedding band but would like it engraved with your wedding date or a personal message for your partner to read on the wedding day on the inside or perhaps both sets of initials. If you have any unusual requests we will also try to accommodate.
