Lester and Brown create a piece of jewellery that is unique to you, both David and Ian have been designing and creating bespoke jewellery for over 30 years, from bespoke diamond engagement rings to more elaborate statement pieces. Their expertise and experience in jewellery design and creation is second to none and they combine age old techniques with modern Computer Aided Design to make your unique piece of jewellery a reality.

Together, we will explore different concepts for your bespoke piece of jewellery, simply discuss your ideas with us and we can sketch them out, we can even develop your ideas from your drawings or even a picture that you may have. We want you to be happy with your chosen design and we won’t stop until you’re happy with the basic design concept for your bespoke jewellery piece.

After the initial design consultation, we will create a 3d virtual model of your piece for you to view; the images that are produced are very realistic and will help give you a better idea about your chosen design. We want you to be happy with your jewellery design and we encourage you to get involved in the design process as much as possible, from the simple sketch, Images to even a wax model of your bespoke piece of jewellery, to ensure every detail is right for you.

It may all sound a bit complicated but it’s quite simple really! We will do our very best to make things as smooth as possible. As we always say, don’t be afraid to speak to us, we don’t bite! And although we take our work very seriously, we also like to treat our customers in a relaxed friendly manner, we don’t do pushy! We want you to make all the decisions for yourself and most of all, enjoy the experience.

There are three things which are of upmost importance to Lester and Brown when we are creating a piece of jewellery. Firstly, we want to make sure you get something truly unique and individual that is tailored to you. Secondly we want to make sure you love the design we create and thirdly, when your new piece of bespoke jewellery is finished it will be made to the highest of standards. Oh and there’s a fourth thing – our service, we will always endeavour to give our clients the best service we possibly can!

I must say I not usually minded to make the effort in writing reviews, I consider myself a cynic with high expectations – rarely a winning combo!

That said I was delighted and impressed by the personal service I received from both David and Ian.  David appears to be a natural at listening and understanding what I was looking for.  He drew exactly what my minds-eye saw.  The piece of jewellery that followed was attentively crafted and willingly indulged with great skill, experience and passion.

There is a great warmth, honesty and charm with all they do coupled with the simplicity of saying what they will do and refreshingly doing what they say!  Best of all, they love what they do.

Ian and David have been making beautiful jewellery for me for many years. They listen to me and take my half-baked ideas and then use their flare for design, expertise, experience and craftsmanship, to create wonderful individual pieces of jewellery that I treasure. I collected the ring made for me today and it couldn’t be more beautiful. My grandma, to whom I was incredibly close, passed away in May. She left me some money in her will and I knew I wanted to have a ring made.

I had an idea what I wanted, knowing it would involve pearl as that was both hers and mine birthstone. Other than that I was clueless!! David and Ian helped me every step of the way, originally producing sketches followed by a CGI of the ring.

This ring is just beautiful, the service I received was second to none and the end result is something amazing that will always remind me of my Grandma. Thank you. X
